Deborah Weisz Quartet Double-Bill with Schapiro 17 at ShapeShifter Lab, 18 Whitwell Place, Brooklyn, NY
I will be performing one set, at 7pm, with my quartet, featuring:
Bruce Arnold - Guitar
Ratzo Harris - Bass
Eric Halvorson - Drums
The music will be a mix of Ellington, Monk, and my original compositions.
After my set i will be performing with Schapiro 17, featuring the large ensemble compositions/arrangements of Jon Schapiro.
Recently Jon has been reimagining the music from the album "Kind of Blue" - really interesting take on these classic recordings, arranged for the large ensemble. We will be performing some of them tonight!
