Inspired by: a very funny, 14 hour trip to Rochester, NY (Yes, Rochester is only 7 hours from NYC. HA!), 8 musicians, 1 professional driver, a video of some guy in Texas giving directions where every other word he said was “Bam,” the movie Blazing Saddles, with the Count Basie Orchestra playing April In Paris in the middle of the desert, the Canadian Border, and finally__the 7 lights to get to the hotel.(Trust me, it’s a funny story.)
